AgXX® is an innovative, antimicrobial contact catalyzer for the disinfection of aqueous solutions. Here we are dealing with a specifically structured and coated surface, which has been finished and conditioned through subsequent treatment. The antimicrobial effect occurs mainly on or in the immediate proximity of the AgXX® surface by a depolarization of biological membranes with a subsequent cellysis.
